A Real Centroid Digitizing Example

This is a scroll for a Cello made up of composite materials.

The scroll was hand carved so no real dimensions were known.

With the Centroid and a retrofitted Bridgeport (vintage 70's) we digitized the original and created a points cloud.

The cloud was imported into The Visi Series written by Vero International which is the CAD CAM program we sell and support!

A mold was created from the digitized file and cut on the same machine.

Everything was produced using a Centroid, even the dowel pin locations in each mold half!
